President – The President shall serve as the Principal Director of the Coalition and subject to the control of the Board of Directors and Affirmed Representatives. President shall supervise the business and affairs of the Coalition. He or she shall preside over all Board of Directors and General meetings subject to the Bylaws and the Standard Operating Procedures. In general, he or she shall perform all duties inherent to the office of President and such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors and/or Affirmed Representatives.
Duties of the President include:
- Work with the Board of Directors and Affirmed Representatives to set the direction of WC4WD.
- Monitor activities of the Board of Directors to ensure WC4WD is operating within the Bylaws and SOP’s.
- Review and provide recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding membership(s) to National, State and Local organizations.
- Draft all meeting Agendas with input from the Board of Directors.
- Chair the Annual Convention Committee.
- Draft and Distribute communications on behalf of the Coalition on a regular basis including the year in review.
- Serve as the point of contact for all legal and insurance policies. The President shall communicate event dates and changes to the insurance agency.
